While the concept of using the influence of kaleidoscope's in music video's today isnt something new, there's still something that grabs me about this video, its just done so well without being too cliche!

Tron Legacy WOW!

The year in which I was born 1982 saw the release of Steven Lisberger's revolutionary dazzling cult classic "TRON". I was around 9 years old when my mother sat me down and told me to watch one of her favorite films as it was on TV after coming in from reeking havoc on the streets. What i experienced then until this day I will never forget. It was the first film that left my imagination running crazy. It was so damn cool. Its still one of my earliest memories of why I love design.

Having watched the film again just recently after being taken in by the hype about the follow up "Tron Legacy" due for release by Disney in 2011 you can still see why its loved by so many. It still holds up today with its beauty and fantastic eye candy design. So having heard that the trailer had just hit the net you can imagine how excited i was! And boy it did not disappoint!

Take a look for yourself at some absolutely beautiful work, from the excellent DAFT Punk score to the perfect re-imaging and updating of all what made TRON so special in the first place.

Imagine Greater

Say what you will about SyFy’s new name, but the House of Imagination trailer does a fantastic job getting the rebrand off to an epic start. With vfx by the Moving Picture Company and direction by 4Creative’s Brett Foraker, the entire two-minute video is an inviting trip to a place I genuinely wish I could visit.
